M.C. Miller RE-2.5U Electrode
Taking potential readings on concrete reinforced structures can have its difficulties. The M.C. Miller RE-2.5U makes taking these readings easier. The RE-2.5U comes with a large, 2.25” diameter ceramic plug end for large surface area contact and an optional sponge end to provide consistent electrolyte contact. Much like other RE series models, the RE-2.5U comes with a Lexan tube body and a high purity copper core rod.

The M.C. Miller RE-2.5U reference electrode is primarily used on concrete structures reinforced with steel or asphalt surfaces where direct soil contact is not accessible. Much like other portable reference electrodes, even, consistent contact with the surface is required to take potential readings.
When ordering a RE-2.5U portable reference electrode, please make sure to indicate the quantity of cell’s you may require. Corrpro offers replacement copper/copper sulfate crystals for servicing the reference electrode, as well as copper sulfate anti-freeze solution for winter performance of the reference cell. The reference cell does not come with a lead to connect to a true RMS multi-meter. Corrpro offers a selection of lead assemblies for the reference cell.
